BOARD

Logo-smallClaude Duval – Head and Founder of EURÉCOLE. Claude Duval, a psychologist, is a forerunner amongst those dedicated to the idea of a ‘European education’. A former city council member of Boulogne Billancourt and an impassioned education professional, she initiated the first early language learning experience with English classes for 7 year olds in Paris in 1983. During the next seven years, she directed an international school in Paris.
In 1989 Mme Duval worked with a team of talented teachers to create EURÉCOLE. She has since developed a teacher training center, the Centre de Formation Pédagogique Privé (CFPP) and a college following the primary school.

EURÉCOLE – AN EVER-DEEPENING PROCESS

At EURÉCOLE, early learning is emphasized at all levels and constant interaction is applied among all subjects.
The French national education programme is strengthened at each level – Nursery, Primary, Secondary – through other activities such as sports, music, history of art, algebra, latin, art and crafts, corporal expression, chess and drama.
A special curriculum has been created for foreign children who are taken care of by a tutor for daily courses in French, in tight collaboration with the principal teacher.

EURÉCOLE – TOWARDS A CONCERT OF NATIONS

Thirty-six nationalities are represented at EURÉCOLE. Discovery and integration of other cultures are developed through geographical, cultural, artistic courses and monthly outings.
Beginning in the first grade, educational trips are arranged to the UK, the USA and throughout mainland Europe.
