Why is it important to learn languages from such a young age ?
When children are young, their brains still have a “plasticity” that allows them to integrate new knowledge much more easily. By learning more than one language, they assimilate information much more quickly. Moreover, their neuronal system is still in full maturation, allows them to use different language areas very easily, making learning foreign languages easier and more sustainable.
What are your objectives in relation to the National Education program ?ationale ?
The teaching of fundamental subjects is of course ensured. However we also develop early learning from kindergarten, this leads to a higher level of education.
We ensure that the knowledge is perfectly assimilated, benefiting from a strong framework and classes with limited staff.
Our active pedagogy is based both on the advances of the major modern pedagogical trends and on the techniques and know-how.
Mental calculation, dictations and grammar are part of our everyday life … But also the solicitation of the child, the heart of learning, the structural exercises and experimentation as well.
How do you develop early learning?
The motivation of students is fundamental. The path to school must be that from a place of discovery. It is up to us to implement the necessary means to guide them in this adventure.
It will sometimes be a question of approaching notions at a tender age, giving the child a greater ease in understanding their daily universe. These learnings will always be related to their needs. One can thus discover Latin and Roman civilization in Middle Course as well as algebra and abstract reasoning, at the same age.
At 4 years of age, we know how to recognize letters other those that are capitalized; Moreover, when you read a book to your child, is it written in capital letters?
Children are eager to learn as soon as we give them the keys to the doors that open them to the world around them.
This can be through co-ordinating lessons and the development of cross-curricular competencies; An example: to teach at the same time the accusative in German and the complement of the direct object in French at the same time. Thus, the notions studied in parallel reinforce the acquired knowledge of the pupil because the mechanisms of thought used are identical.
