Anti Bullying day on November 8 !

The bilingual kindergarten and international primary school EURECOLE is mobilizing against school bullying and is organizing  an awareness week in November for the classes of CE2, CM1 and CM2, through philosophical and artistic workshops on the theme of respect and the right to be different. On November 8, everyone comes to school dressed in pink! The original event was organised in Canada in 2007, after Chuck McNeill, a fourth grader, was bullied for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school. Since 2009, the last Wednesday in February has been declared National Anti-Bullying Day in Canada, and all students are encouraged to wear pink t-shirts that say « Bullying Stops Here » and « Pink Shirt Day » for Anti-Bullying Day. Eurécole was inspired by this event to organise its own Pink Day and say no to bullying at school!
