A truly bilingual school in Paris with excellent academics, a supportive teaching team, and a strong focus on sports. As a trilingual family from London, we were looking for a genuinely international and bilingual environment for our children’s secondary education (middle school). We're very happy with our choice — our son truly thrived at the school, growing into a confident and academically strong student. The small class sizes allowed him to focus on his strengths and fill in some of the learning gaps left during the Covid period. The leadership and teachers are very supportive, with good communication with parents. We even asked for our native language (which wasn't part of the curriculum) to be offered as an extracurricular activity — and they made it happen. The school emphasizes English/international-style activities like debating, sports, art, and critical thinking. It's located in a nice, family-friendly neighborhood. Our family arrived in Paris a year ago, and we were looking for a school for our 12-year-old daughter.Since she was starting middle school without speaking French, the choice was difficult for us.We had two options: Enroll her in a French public school — which we ruled out because we knew it would be very stressful for her. Or enroll her in an English-speaking international school — but this wasn’t our preference either, as we wanted her to learn French by living in France, not English. After our research, Eurécole was recommended to us (we also visited other schools), and it was the one that convinced us the most. First, during the interview, the principal began by addressing our daughter, then us — which she really appreciated.Next, the school is modest in size (about 10 to 15 students per class on average), which we see as a real advantage because it allows teachers to better meet each student’s needs. Moreover, although our priority was for our daughter to learn French, it was also important to us that she maintain a good level of English. Eurécole offers enhanced English instruction, taught by native English-speaking teachers. Each class is divided into three level groups. Finally, even though lessons are in French, our daughter benefited from specific support since she didn’t speak the language at all at first: she took FLE (French as a Foreign Language) classes, received explanatory materials in English in class, and all teachers were willing to help by providing explanations in English when necessary. After one year: Eva now speaks French fluently (she successfully passed the DELF B1 level at the end of the year). She has improved her English. She has made friends among her classmates as well as some parents. She succeeded in her other subjects with good results (science, math, etc.) and gained solid knowledge despite the initial language difficulties. We are very happy that Eva studied at this school and warmly thank the management and teachers for their kindness and attention towards our daughter.

Our Franco-American family had a wonderful experience at Eurécole’s primary and middle school.Our eldest daughter spent three years in middle school with limited French proficiency when we arrived. Having attended an American public school before, she could understand some spoken French but was definitely not fluent in reading, writing, or speaking. We really appreciated the small class sizes and the empathy of all the teachers. She was assessed based on her answers rather than how well she could express them — this was very helpful in maintaining her confidence as she improved her French skills. I also appreciated that she received extra French lessons tailored to her level to help her catch up quickly. Our youngest daughter also adapted quickly to the French school system in both primary and middle school. The focus on languages, alongside the rigor of the French curriculum, was fantastic for challenging them, maintaining their English with native teachers, and opening their minds to the many cultures of their classmates! Overall, it has been a fantastic experience for our family and children. They felt welcome, appreciated their teachers, and built wonderful relationships.They also had great opportunities to be active in school life and to enjoy the wonderful cultural playground that Paris offers!

I have two children at Eurécole, and they are both happy. I have been part of the school community since September 2019. There are excellent teachers, and the language programs and international activities are fantastic. The level of English, Spanish, and German is excellent.The only thing I would change is to improve communication between the administration and the parents.

I can’t say enough how much I love this school. My three daughters have spent their best years here. The program is amazing, and the teachers are wonderful. When we first arrived at the school, they didn’t speak French, but by the end of their first year, they were bilingual and also knew some Spanish. To this day, my eldest tells me that the way they teach a new language is the perfect method for them to learn. I’m very sad that this is my youngest child’s last year. Being part of the Eurécole family is something I will truly miss.

My 6-year-old daughter attended Eurécole’s CP class for one year. At the start of the school year, she didn’t know French at all, but by the end of the year, her French had reached nearly the junior DELF A2.1 level. Her CP teachers gave French lessons in small groups, and she improved a lot. This international school also provided great support and care for non-French students and their different situations. I believe this international school is perfect for learning various languages, French and international cultures, and for staying connected with friends and staff. I have since returned to my home country, but my daughter still fondly remembers seeing the top of the Eiffel Tower from Eurécole’s courtyard during recess. 🙂 I highly recommend the international school Eurécole. An excellent school, both on a human and educational level. My son has been attending since PS (petite section), and next year he will be in fifth grade. My daughter is in GS (grande section). There is genuine enthusiasm among the teachers and a great atmosphere within the teaching team. The management is open and approachable. The level of English is excellent. My daughter in GS already understands and is beginning to speak English. My son wants to do extra English workshops at school because he enjoys the way it is taught. It’s a fun and joyful way of learning. It’s also worth noting — and this is no small detail — that the children have one hour of Spanish or German every day, starting as early as PS. I want to share my experience with Eurécole because this school has given so much to my children. Having friends of different nationalities, they are open to others, to their cultures, and to their differences. It is also important to highlight that Eurécole children reach a high level and successfully enter some of the best middle schools in Paris after graduating.
