On 21 and 22 May 2026, Eurécole hosted the first edition of its Book Fair across its campuses in Paris’s 16th and 17th arrondissements. The event gave students, families, and visitors the opportunity to meet several contemporary authors and enjoy two days dedicated to reading and literature.
A Public Book Signing Evening at Eurécole Middle School
On Thursday, 21 May, Eurécole Middle School welcomed numerous authors for a public book signing evening held at 13 rue du Mont-Dore, Paris 17th.
Featured authors included David Foenkinos, Marie-Aude Murail, Dimitri Bortnikov, Elsa Flageul, Bertrand Leclair, Adeline Fleury, Scott Carpenter, Vincent Baguian & Baptiste Vignol, and Fanny Chartres.
During the evening, public readings were given by Bertrand Leclair, Fanny Chartres, Adeline Fleury, and Elsa Flageul, offering attendees a special opportunity to discover their texts and literary worlds.
Discussions with Authors for Students
Earlier that day, students from CM1, CM2, and middle school took part in a discussion session with Marie-Aude Murail and Fanny Chartres on children’s literature, the profession of being an author, and the writing process.
Students also had the chance to ask questions and speak directly with the authors about their books and career paths.
Book-Themed Activities for Primary School Students
On Friday, 22 May, primary school students continued exploring the world of books through workshops led by Audrey de Matos for classes from TPS to Year 2 (CE1) and by My Fair Book for Year 3 (CE2) students.
Students took part in reading sessions as well as activities focused on the book production chain, the creative process, and the different professions connected to publishing and books.
