📢 News and Events
🎃 Halloween at Eurécole
Once again this year, Halloween was celebrated in a festive atmosphere at both our Primary and Middle Schools!
At the Primary School, Eurécape, our Parents’ Association, organised a fun-filled day with decorations, cakes, sweets and face painting by professional artists. All the students joined in the fun by coming to school in their Halloween costumes!
At the Middle School, the BDE (Student Council) took charge of the celebrations, with decorations, sweet treats and a face-painting workshop led by one of our students.
A big thank you to Eurécape, the BDE and everyone who helped make these celebrations such a success!

🎉 Middle School Integration Week
To kick off the school year, our Middle School students took part in an Integration Week combining sports, cultural activities and team challenges.
The programme included a sensory trail and orienteering, a behind-the-scenes cinema experience at Le Grand Rex with a filmmaking workshop, treetop adventure courses and many other activities.
A week focused on teamwork, building connections and personal challenges, giving students the opportunity to get to know one another and strengthen friendships across classes.

🌎 Languages and Cultural Discoveries
🇬🇧 Science & Experiments in English
Our students explored a range of scientific concepts through hands-on experiments conducted in English.
From building challenges using spaghetti and marshmallows to exploring how the three primary colours mix with The Colour Wheel, as well as creative activities involving eggs and kites, the children learned through experimentation.

🧁 The Great Bake Off
From Petite Section to CM2, students took part in The Great Bake Off, a whole day dedicated to baking in English!
Throughout the workshops, the children discovered cooking vocabulary and got hands-on in the kitchen, practising their English in a fun and delicious way.

👻 Halloween Crafts – Preschool
In the lead-up to Halloween, our preschool students created their own ghosts and skeletons during their English lessons.
A fun and creative way to learn Halloween vocabulary while developing their fine motor skills and imagination.

🇩🇪 Music, Culture & Discoveries in German
German lessons have been filled with a variety of activities combining music, geography and history.
Students took part in a musical storytelling activity, using sounds and instruments to represent different characters. They also explored the Bundesländer (German federal states) and celebrated German Unity Day through a Memory game.
These playful activities helped students expand their vocabulary while deepening their understanding of German culture.

🇨🇺 Discovering Cuba in Spanish
Our students immersed themselves in Cuban culture through a dance workshop led by Lourdes from the Cuban Embassy.
Through music, movement and the discovery of animals native to Cuba, this activity gave students the opportunity to practise Spanish in a lively and engaging way.
