This year, Eurécole has chosen to focus its educational theme on children’s well-being. As part of this initiative, students from CP to CM2 took part in a series of workshops over three weeks. These sessions were led by Clémentine Drach, a nurse, naturopath, and mother of two Eurécole students, and her associate Nathalie Morisseau, a naturopath and sophrologist, and mother of four.
The purpose of these shared moments was to help children better understand themselves and recognize their emotions.
Two Passionate and Dedicated Facilitators
Trained as a nurse, Clémentine Drach became a naturopath during her first pregnancy and also specialized in psycho-nutrition.
In 2019, together with her associate Nathalie Morisseau, she went back to school to complete a dissertation on raising young people’s awareness about nutrition, stress, emotions, addictions, and waste reduction.
From this research was born the idea of creating well-being workshops for children, which the two women now run together.

Three Workshops to Learn How to Live Better with Yourself
1. Getting to Know and Recognize Emotions 💟
This first workshop invited students to identify their emotions and understand how they manifest in the body.
For CP and CE1 students, this took the form of emotion faces with removable parts (mouth, eyes, eyebrows, etc.) that they could color and change according to their mood. Every morning, they can now adjust their character to express how they feel.
Students in CE2, CM1 and CM2 discovered the “emotion weather forecast”, linking their mood to the day’s weather: sunshine, rain, or clouds, depending on how they felt.
The workshop ended with a moment of deep belly breathing and each child received their own “emotion weather” card to take home.

2. Understanding Stress and Its Purpose 🌬️
The second workshop helped students understand what stress is and why it happens. They learned that there are three levels of stress: low, medium, and high.
The children reflected on moments during the day when stress might appear and observed how it shows up in their body and emotions: a faster heartbeat, shortness of breath, muscle tension, or nervousness.
They were also introduced, in a fun way, to the “rainbow breathing” technique: a simple exercise to refocus and regain calm in stressful situations.

3. Sleep: A Key to Well-Being 🌙
The final workshop focused on the importance of sleep in managing stress and emotions.
Younger students (CP and CE1) took part in a craft activity about bedtime routines to better understand what helps promote good sleep.
Older students (CE2, CM1 and CM2) completed a sleep habits questionnaire to reflect on their own routines and how they affect their well-being.
Through the “sleep train,” made up of four carriages representing the different stages of sleep, the children learned to recognize the signs of sleepiness (itchy eyes, yawning, feeling cold) and to avoid the “enemies of sleep”: screens, sugar, and light.
Each child went home with their own sleep train card to display at home.

🌿 Growing up in Harmony
By learning from a young age to identify emotions, manage stress, and take care of their sleep, children develop valuable lifelong habits.
These workshops offered them a chance to explore simple, practical tools to live more peacefully with themselves and with others.
📅 Next Step: Parent Meetings
To continue this initiative, Clémentine Drach and Nathalie Morisseau will host two parent meetings on Tuesday, November 4 and Thursday, November 6, 2025, right after the All Saints’ holidays.
They will present the workshops in more detail and share practical advice on how parents can support their children’s well-being in daily life.
💐 A Heartfelt Thank You
The Eurécole team warmly thanks Clémentine Drach and Nathalie Morisseau for their caring and enriching contribution to our students’ learning.
Their playful, accessible, and deeply human approach helped every child better understand their emotions and view well-being as a true strength in everyday life.
