As the school year has come to an end and summer has begun, we wanted to take a moment with you to look back on the highlights of this end of the year at Eurécole. Outings, educational projects, trips, sports events, and major celebrations… this newsletter brings the school year to a close and showcases the commitment of our teams and your children throughout the past few months.
🎉 35 Years of Eurécole: A Milestone Year
This year, Eurécole celebrated its 35th anniversary. A symbolic moment marked by a ceremony at the 16th arrondissement’s town hall, in a reception hall specially decorated with our students’ artistic creations.
Since 1989, Eurécole has been committed to offering an educational project based on openness to the world, languages, cultures, and sports. We look forward to pursuing this mission with the same high standards for the next 35 years.

📦 The CM2 Time Capsule to mark the end of this anniversary celebration
In line with this celebration, the CM2 students carried out a meaningful project: the Time Capsule.
A symbolic and intergenerational project for the CM2 students in Natacha’s class, many of whom have been at Eurécole since Petite Section.
Together, students, parents, Natacha, and Mr Pourrias wrote letters to their future selves, to be read in ten years. These letters, along with various memories, were placed in a time capsule that was sealed and buried by the students. A date has been set to open it together in 2035.
This project brought a very personal and collective end to Eurécole’s anniversary year.

🎉 100% pass rate and 100% honors in the Brevet exams
🏫 The middle school students passed the Diplôme National du Brevet with flying colors: 100% success rate and 100% with honors! 40% of them were non-native French speakers when they arrived at Eurécole. We congratulate the students and the entire teaching team on these outstanding results.
🎓 Exams and Certifications
Our students also sat for several exams and certifications at the end of the school year:
– 🇪🇸 The DELE at the Instituto Cervantes (Spanish language)
– 🇬🇧 The Cambridge exams, official certification in English
– 🧠 The Kangourou competition, a fun national mathematics contest taken by our middle school students

🎽 Sports Activities
🏅 Olympic Mornings – Preschool, Primary, and Middle School
As every year, the Olympic Mornings marked the end of the school year at Eurécole. Students, split into teams representing different countries, competed in various sporting events in a spirit of cooperation and fun.
From preschool to middle school, these highlights celebrated the values of sport: teamwork, respect, and effort. A huge thank you to our sports teachers Alain and Christophe, DJ Lucky for the music, and the Eurécape parents’ association!

⚔️ Chanbara
All primary classes, from CP to CM2, took part in a Chanbara initiation — a Japanese martial art with Alain, our PE teacher and double world champion. A discovery everyone enjoyed.

🎒 Trips and Excursions
🐴 CP and CE1 – Trip to Bourgogne
CP and CE1 students went on a trip centred around sport — pony riding. They learned how to prepare their mount and the related vocabulary. They rode in the arena and went on a long ride around a lake. Activities also included a hut-building workshop and a giant countryside escape game. A chance to discover a new environment and enjoy a nature getaway together.
