🇬🇧🇺🇸 A Year of Learning and International Openness Through English at Eurécole
As a private bilingual school in Paris, Eurécole places language learning at the heart of its educational philosophy. From preschool through middle school, students enjoyed a wide range of activities throughout the 2025–2026 academic year, allowing them to practice English in meaningful, engaging, and authentic contexts.
Beyond regular lessons, numerous projects helped bring the English language to life on a daily basis. Wednesday afternoon workshops gave students valuable opportunitieswith valuable opportunities to develop their speaking skills, creativity, and self-confidence in an immersive environment.
Students also benefited from science lessons taught in English as part of the school curriculum. Each week, students receive one hour of science instruction in English, enabling students to explore scientific concepts while strengthening their language skills. Through experiments, observations, and hands-on projects, they naturally expand their scientific vocabulary and gain confidence using English in a practical and stimulating setting.
Among the highlights of the year, Archaeology Day allowed students to travel through history and discover ancient civilizations through educational activities conducted in English. Thanksgiving celebrations offered another opportunity to explore an important tradition of the English-speaking world and learn about its cultural origins.
Eurécole’s commitment to international education was also reflected in a Bulgarian dance workshop, which immersed students in a different culture and encouraged intercultural exchange within a multicultural environment.
Throughout the year, students of all ages took part in seasonal activities inspired by autumn, winter, spring, and summer. These projects included creative activities, games, arts and crafts, and collaborative experiences that encouraged the natural use of English in everyday situations.
Major celebrations were also featured throughout the school year. Back-to-school activities, Christmas, Chandeleur, Valentine’s Day, and many other events gave students the opportunity to participate in English-language activities combining cultural discovery, games, creative workshops, and hands-on projects. These shared experiences allowed students to practice English in a fun and authentic way while developing their creativity.
Through these diverse experiences, students at our private bilingual school in Paris strengthened their English proficiency, expanded their curiosity, and developed a broader international perspective.
