A Bilingual School in Paris Shaping Global Citizens Since 1989
For over 35 years, Eurécole has been guiding students on an ambitious, multilingual journey — one that fosters curiosity, openness, and global awareness. Founded in 1989 by psychologist Claude Duval, this pioneering bilingual school in Paris has welcomed more than 8,750 students, helping them grow within a rich international and linguistic environment.
Located in the heart of Paris, Eurécole is more than just a bilingual school — it’s a trilingual one. It offers a multicultural setting and a forward-thinking educational philosophy, focused on intensive language learning from an early age. From preschool onward, children benefit from a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to each student’s needs.
A Milestone Celebration Filled with Emotion
On May 22nd, Eurécole marked its 35th anniversary with a heartfelt celebration at the elegant Town Hall of Paris’s 16th arrondissement.
The event brought together the entire school community — parents, students, teachers, alumni, partners, and representatives from local institutions — to reflect on the journey of our bilingual school and the strong bonds it has built over the decades.
Speeches, Stories, and Future Visions
Throughout the evening, a series of heartfelt speeches traced the school’s evolution, values, and aspirations:
- Madame Claude Duval, Eurécole’s founder, recalled the school’s origins and the core values that have guided its mission since day one.
- The current leadership team — Mr. Duval, Mr. Pourrias, Mr. Mens, and Ms. Pognan — highlighted the school’s recent developments, innovative projects, and continued momentum.
- Mr. Redler, Mayor of the 16th arrondissement, paid tribute to Eurécole’s commitment to education, joined by Ms. Nizard, Deputy Mayor for Educational Affairs.
A Bilingual School Where Students Are Artists, Too
The festive hall was decorated with original artwork created by our students — from preschoolers to middle schoolers. These artistic pieces, crafted during language, visual arts, and interdisciplinary classes, added a colorful and poetic touch to the evening.
Beyond showcasing their creativity, the artwork reflected students’ deep involvement in the life of the school.
