🐶 Middle School Students Support Guide Dogs for the Blind
Over the past few weeks, the Student Council (Bureau des Élèves) has launched a meaningful project to raise awareness within the school community about the essential role of guide dogs for the visually impaired.
First, students welcomed the Chiens Guides de Paris association for a fascinating talk about the role these dogs play in daily life. Following this visit, the BDE students co-led a special awareness session for CE1 to CM2 classes at the primary school.

🧳 CM2 Trip to the Basque Country
CM2 students spent a week immersed in the heart of the Basque Country, combining cultural, sports, and scientific discoveries:

🔬 Focus on Our English & Science Workshops
The science workshops in English, led by Madame T., are a key component of Eurécole’s educational approach. Inspired by Anglo-Saxon programs, they combine language learning, science, and hands-on experiments. Students develop both scientific and language skills while having fun!
Here are some recent projects:
– CE2 – All About Our Bodies: Students studied bones, organs, and muscles in English, using models and annotated diagrams.
– CP – Animals and Their Habitats: Through games and discussions, students explored animal habitats and compared life “underground” and “above ground.”
– CE1 – Photosynthesis: Study of the photosynthesis process, planting daffodil bulbs, and observing their growth.
– CM1 – Making Butter: Experimentation with solid-liquid phase separation through butter-making.
– CM1 – Chemical Reaction: Demonstration of gas release by inflating a balloon using a vinegar and baking soda reaction.
– CM2 – Algae and Water: Study of algae proliferation in aquatic ecosystems, with experiments to explore ways to reduce it.
