In 2024, Eurécole proudly celebrates 35 years of dedicated excellence in providing high-quality international education at the heart of Paris
Founded in 1989 by Claude Duval, a trained psychologist, Eurécole was established with a clear vision: to offer students an innovative trilingual education that prepares them to interact with the world and Europe. Focusing on languages, culture, and sports, Eurécole was the first European school to be established in Paris.
A Trilingual Educational Project in the Heart of Paris
Eurécole is a private international school offering a unique trilingual education in French, English, and a choice of a second foreign language (Spanish or German). From kindergarten onward, students thrive in a multilingual and multicultural environment, fostering open-mindedness and a deeper understanding of the world. With over 40 nationalities represented, Eurécole creates a truly global community within its international school in Paris.
Languages are at the heart of the school’s educational project, with native-speaking teachers offering immersive instruction. The curriculum also emphasizes personal development, balancing language learning with cultural and sports activities to foster well-rounded growth.
The International Middle School: Continuing an International Education
Eurécole’s international middle school builds on the solid foundation established in primary school, further strengthening linguistic abilities while encouraging students’ intellectual independence. With a focus on language mastery, personal growth, and critical thinking, the middle school curriculum is designed to prepare students for a global future. This is why many parents choose our international school in Paris, a place where every student can flourish.
The curriculum follows the French National Education program. Students receive thorough preparation for the Brevet, with excellent results year after year. Last year, Eurécole achieved a 100% pass rate in the Brevet, with 87.5% of students receiving honors.
A Balanced Approach to Languages, Culture, and Sports
Since its creation, Eurécole has maintained a balance between academic learning, creative activities, and sports. The educational method emphasizes opportunities for autonomy, engaging interactions with teachers, and a variety of activities that complement the subjects studied in class.
Students benefit from a variety of field trips, guest speakers (in art history, music, sports, etc.), as well as language and cultural exchanges. This multidisciplinary framework is designed to enhance their critical thinking skills and personal growth.
Educational Projects for the 2024-2025 School Year
This year, our teaching team has developed and organized a variety of exciting projects. Without listing them all, here are a few examples currently in the works:
- Adapted fairy tales for CP (Year 2) and CE1 (Year 3): Throughout the year, students will explore classic fairy tales with a twist—each story will be reimagined to offer different lessons and morals. The aim is to teach students a range of life values. At the end of the year, CE1 (Year 3) students will perform a play based on one of these stories.
- CM1 (Year 5) and CM2 (Year 6) project for Universal Children’s Day: To mark Universal Children’s Day on November 20th, our CM1 (Year 5) and CM2 (Year 6) students will present stories of children who have made a difference in the world. We are also honored to welcome a traveling photographer who will share insights from his project “School at the End of the World.”
- Collaboration with Cours Florent: Every Thursday afternoon, professional actors from Cours Florent will lead theater workshops for students from Grande Section (Reception) to CM1 (Year 5). The year-long program will conclude with a theatrical performance by the CM1 (Year 5) students.
- Winter sports trip for middle school students: From January 19th to 24th, our middle school students will take part in a winter sports trip. This week will offer not only skiing and sledding, but also the chance to build social skills, foster independence, and boost self-confidence.
